Mayor Elizabeth Tisdahl and the Evanston City Council need to hear from you on the critical issues facing our city!  Facing massive budget shortfalls, the City Manager is poised to recommend drastic cuts in fire and paramedic protection for the citizens and visitors to the City of Evanston.  We believe that the protection of life and property is the number one priority for our elected officials.

Please take a moment to use the links below and write to Mayor Tisdahl and your representative on the City Council.  Ask them to:

  • Reject the City Manager's proposals to cut the life and property preserving capabilities of the Evanston Fire Department.
  • Let them know that defending our citizens' life and property should be a main priority for city government.
  • Tell them you will be watching whether or not they support our city's firefighters and paramedics in doing their duty to protect our city.
